Job Title Business Associate Job Code 1506 Reports to (Title) Practice Manager FLSA Status Non-exempt Matrix to Regional Director of Operations Revised Date 8.31.2022 Job Summary Assist with the facilitation of daily operations of the dental practice, including coordination of patient care and scheduling, insurance verification, and patient billing. Provides efficient, courteous, quality customer service and patient care. Essential Functions The following is a summary of the essential functions for this position. Personally contribute to a culture that delivers an exceptional patient experience for every patient, every time. Ensures the telephone is answered in a timely and professional fashion. Helps ensure efficient and profitable operations by seeking patient referrals, maintaining equipment, utilizing supplies cost-effectively, and posting patient charges accurately. Ensures all insurance is verified and communicated to clinical staff and patients. Ensures all financial obligations are communicated with the patient and properly noted for each procedure. Ensures all accounts are properly credited when payment is received. Follows scheduling guidelines to ensure a manageable and profitable schedule for the dentist and hygienists. Promotes a "team first" attitude by demonstrating positive and caring relationships and communication with coworkers. Actively participated in a recall program to ensure goals are achieved. Basic Education, Training, and Experience Required Required High school diploma or equivalent G Suite Preferred Associate or Bachelor's Degree CPR 1 - 3 years of experience in a dental office Microsoft office suite, open dental, scanner Physical Requirements/Workplace Conditions Check the box that most appropriately describes the requirements for the position.
