Under the direction of department leadership, the Dosimetrist III is responsible for designing and optimizing high-quality, image-based radiation treatment plans in accordance with physician prescriptions, departmental protocols, and evidence-based practice standards. The successful candidate will possess a strong understanding of radiation therapy principles, anatomy, imaging modalities, treatment planning systems, and quality assurance processes.In this role, you will collaborate closely with radiation oncologists, medical physicists, and radiation therapists to develop complex treatment plans, support quality and safety initiatives, and contribute to ongoing improvements in clinical practice. Must be able to understand the technical aspects of radiation oncology and medical physics to derive computerized treatment plans and communicate these aspects to the radiation oncologist for plan approval, and to the radiation therapist for plan implementation.
